Dr. Adrián García-Rodríguez

Dr. Adrián García-Rodríguez, is a biologist born in Costa Rica with more than 10 years of career, along which he has worked with taxonomy, behavior, biogeography and conservation of Neotropical amphibians. Currently, his interests are focused on understanding diversification processes (from feature divergence to speciation) in regions with complex topographies and heterogeneous climates. For this, his research integrates diverse tools of spatial and phylogenetic analysis, in several spatial and temporal scales, using diverse taxonomic groups as study systems.
D. in Ecology from UFRN in Brazil, Adrián is currently living in Mexico City where he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biology of UNAM.
